Alright, so we did something great with SOPA/PIPA, but there’s another, larger threat: ACTA.
A few quick facts:
- ACTA is global. This will affect you if your government signs it.
- ACTA is worse than SOPA/PIPA. It affects even the minutiae of your internet experience. Every bit you download will be monitored; every byte watched.
- ACTA affects more realms of life. Healthcare, international trade, and even projects to feed impoverished countries will be affected by this.
