Really, I only want to respond to one section of his post. I agree with his point about the zombification of the Christian music industry, and the general marketing of a “Jesus Lite,” etc. However, I take exception at his treatment of the Scripture in regard to alcohol usage.

Last night at the fair, my faith in humanity was shaken.

My brother and sister both had a friend with them. My family was talking about music. We got to talking about how Vanilla Ice stole the hook for “Ice Ice Baby” from “Under Pressure” by Queen and Bowie. And then my sister’s friend spoke.

Guys.

This.

Girl.

She said she liked Vanilla Ice better than Queen OR Bowie.

Hey musicians!

I need some music for the apologetics series.  I am in need of both upbeat and laid back stuff.  Mostly ambient, electronic, or acoustic will be used for the majority of stuff, but I’m open to pretty much anything.  

Not everyone will be used, since I’m trying to make this as high quality as possible—low quality recordings won’t be accepted.  There is no real payment option, just promo links when the videos are posted.  If you have lyrics in your music, they must be clean, and preferably Christian.  It is an apologetics series, after all.
